Maybe we have a "Prelude" included or something. Where you can create your Shepard and play through the major story parts. No sidequests, just the story...?

There you have it. I trust that BW can make up for ME1 somehow, can we really doubth BW at this point, it's not like there are going to release the best game they have every created on the PS3 without coming up with a way to fill the gaps. Trust me, i have played everyone of their games and they have yet to let me down. BW will do justice to the PS3 port one way or another, they created the story behind ME1 and 2, they will make the PS3 port work.

again though what you are saying is that they still leave out the best part of the series, CHOICE.  Yes I'm sure Bioware will "fill in the gaps" for the story but that sucks for PS3 users since in ME1 YOU filled in the gaps.  You made huge choices in that game about who lives and dies.  Choices that change ME2 in some HUGE ways and which will change ME3 in even bigger ways. 

I don't understand at all why they didn't just include ME1 and ME2 on one disc it makes no sense at all. 

they may have we do not know much of anything what's going on right now just that some info came out about ME 2 on the PS3. it could very well contain ME1 on the disc. we do not know.
