I'm too lazy to read through all the posts, so this might have been said already, but who said that every year is a lap? That is stupid. If you want to use the whole lap analogy, then wouldn't it be more accurate to say that each generation is a lap. The PS3 started late this generation, and so it basically started the race after the xbox 360. The Xbox 360 has sold more and there is no way that you can argue against that. But then again, the whole lap analogy is stupid because that implies that there is a tangible and foreseeable finish line, which there isn't. Consoles remain in the market as long as there is a demand. Look at the PS2 and compare it to the original Xbox. The Xbox already reached the finish line, so does that mean it won?
