The reason I brought up Killzone is the EXACT SAME REASON you have been talking nonstop about ME and Gears, except my comment actually makes sense. You do realize the 360 and PS3 are pretty much neck and neck in EU right? How will releasing ME on the PS3 win over gamers for the PS3 and sell more copies there?
Lastly Mass Effect and Gears going to the PS3 would exactly sell 0 consoles. There aren't any potential customers sitting on their hands waiting for those franchises to go to PS3 before buying one. If they want Gears and ME that badly they would have purchased a 360 already.

For the same reason releasing Final Fantasy 13 on the 360, Portal 2 on the PS3, Bioshock on the PS3, Grand Theft 4 on the 360, or Modern Warfare 2 on the PS3, has been a success (Portal 2 pending). i'm not saying that all of these titles have become system sellers, but like i've said, something like ME or Gears would be a massive come back for the PS3. even though they might not sell consoles, they do develop the library of the console and improve its reputation with gamers. like i've said already, populatiy is also important. eg Gabe Newell of Valve supporting PS3 at E3, it was a hit with gamers!
i'm not saying there are any potential buyers waiting patiently for GoW or ME to go multiplatform. i'm not saying that PS3 sales will smash into the stratosphere if they did. but i do think there is a potential for those games to become popular on the console, and sell many copies, even if they dont sell consoles. although, i'm not ruling out the possibilty that they could sell consoles. just like any good game bundled with a console can make a difference.

Either way it doesn't matter. Mass Effect may come to the PS3. Gears of war will NEVER come to the PS3. Get that out of your head and every other Sony fan can forget about it.

Fair enough, looks like Mass Effect for PS3 is about to be annouced, it wouldnt supprise me. and it is EA of course. who cares, both consoles have a great set of exclusives, and imo far superior to the shite shovel ware on the wii. i think we should leave it at that.
