If Stallone's face was fully functional and even one of his five latest movies weren't based entirely upon old concepts and HGH, maybe he could make some dough too.

Hey, that's gettin' a little mean; Stallone's slur is because some nerves were severed when he was being born (idiot doctors used forceps believe it or not).

But anyway. Seriously? Sly, you have to go slamming Batman and Spider-Man for why 80s action went poof? Also keep in mind you COULD have chosen to be an actor instead of an action star (which you were fully capable of!). And I'm sure Dolph is a wonderful, intelligent guy (he has a Masters Degree is chemical engineering and was accepted into MIT) but it is just childish to say that only kids can enjoy comic book movies (The Dark Knight says hello!).

If anything, stuff like comic book films brought actors back to action films as even a scrawny twig like Toby Macguire could play Spider-Man and Robert Downey Jr (best known as a quirky goofball in stuff like Wonder Boys) has made a killing with Iron Man. The macho man era was something that only the 80s and early 90s had and it's not something we're going to see again.
