I went to see it the first time and I could only focus on the similarities with the comic book. With that said, I thought the intro was really really good, until it got to that part where he punches the girl in the boob. It was just all random from there. But then I learned that the last comic book wasn't even finished when the movie script was done so I'm not surprised how they did the ending. I think I prefer it over the comic book's anyway. So the next day I went to see it a second time with friends this time around and I enjoyed it a lot more. Second time's the charm!
You get the books, the game (which is fricking awesome by the way), and the movie that all have different perspectives on Scott's crazy adventure. In the books he gets the power of understanding, in the movie he gets the power of self confidence. I love it!
