This is clearly going to be 360's peak year but I think the overall picture at the moment isn't entirely clear. I strongly suspect we've been overtracking the 360 in EMEAA since the slim launch if this is to be believed:

Although I have my suspicions since he doesn't site a source. And I would suspect with a PS3 price cut in PAL 360 would have a lot of trouble retaining it's current momentum in Europe. I would predict that it will beat 2008 by about 500k.

"Italian Hardware in the X360 Slim'month (July):"
Italian numbers and Slim only cames out in 19 July or So so 10 days in the market or SO! You cant judge things for ONE MARKET!
So no one should seriously pay attention to ur fanboys comments...
have a nice day.

Perhaps if you had actually read my comment you'd see that I said 'IF this is to believed' and I'm not entirely convinced that they're real since there's no source. It's only one market but it could be indicative of the overall trend. Italy is actually one of 360's bigger markets in Europe marketshare-wise (about 30%).

1st give me a source than we talk... in UK those guys who report the numbers said that 360s sold like Xbox 360 in Launch (Around 70K) Old unit models deals etc... and you have 80-90K Range like VGC had 360 that week on U.K.

Oh, I wasn't referring to the the UK. More than likely our numbers there are correct. I was referring to mainland Europe. And to a lesser extent the Middle East and Asia. Has the slim even launched there?

Microsoft only said North America , Japan and Europe... Dont even know if Central america , South america and Asia have the 360s already... Australia and NZ have it for sure.
