on other websites people have said they got a message saying they did not receive a trophy did this happen?

found no solution to either though maybe try reloading an earlier save and trying again.

No i didnt get that message, and no I didnt think there where any glitches/cheats, I ve heard somewhere to delete the GAME data (not save DATA) and reinstall the update, just anoying becuase this platinum is obtainable, just need to put in a lot of hours, and for it to skimp me on 3 trophies near the end is pretty annoying!

when you play the game and press the ps button go to trophy's is fallout at the top of the list.

edit: before doing that put another game in that has trophys because it will probably be already at the top.

I did and no fallout did not go to the top of the list, what does that mean?

dont know but found someone else with the same problem. well I would guess it means the game either isn't being recognised by the trophy list or the playstation doesn't think there is trophy support.

he deleted the game data and couple of other things but to no prevail. you could try to contacting him on his account on that website and see if he solved it. I'll keep searching.

edit: hmm the last time he was on was the 30/6/2010 might have to wait a while for a response
don't think it will do any good but it might be worth a try. go to you trophy's hit triangle and sort them by title then try running the game don't think it will work but you might as well try. I am trying to see if there is a way to delete them from the console and then re-sync them down.
