Yeah a $50 price cut would be beastly for sales, but would cost them a ton of money. They're only making a few bucks on each console sale so dropping the price by $50 would mean they're losing over $40 on each sale.

Couldn't they make up the losses with 1st party sw and psn plus? Btw does anyone have the numbers on plus?
