After I came home from the Canton, OH demo I was basically impressed with the sheer number of people who were wanting to get the Kinect.  Dance Central will be the biggest seller on Kinect without a doubt.  And if Kinect does as well as I think it will, it possibly could do 3-4 million in sales within its first 6 months.

As for the boost in console sales because of Kinect and Reach, I totally believe it.  Those Kinect demo tours are really getting people pumped up for Kinect and lots of those people are Wii owners.  Or at least the ones that were standing near me in line.  So if Kinect wins over a few of the Wii crowd the skies the limit.

If Microsoft throws plenty of money at advertising both Kinect, and Reach I have no doubt things will be great for Microsoft this Christmas time.   And we may even see sell outs of Kinect bundles like we did for the Wii.  That would be simply unbelievable if you ask me.

***** EDIT*****

The more Microsoft can get these Kinect tours out there the better.  They are great ideas and if Microsoft knows whats good for them they will expand them "EVERYWHERE".  Have them at state fairs, outside concerts, possibly  outside pre-season football games.  The more people see it work, the more consoles sold.  It's that simple.
