| VAMP said: I totally understand that it would be better to sell to let's say %30 of Wii owners compared to let's say %40 percent of PS3 owners. The only point I was trying to make is that you would expect Wii games to selling astronomical amounts considering the amount of Wii systems out there, but we're not seeing that. That's the only point, I'm not trying to offend anyone or anything, and I understand sales numbers matter more than attach rates, especially when dev costs are a lot cheaper on the Wii. I was just saying, I'd expect much larger software numbers, but who knows, maybe that will happen soon. Just saying. |
Most expected the initial sales of SMG in Japan to be much higher than they were, and were severely disappointed. Until now.
For the Wii, a lot of markets will be stranger than for the other consoles. The DS will be the closest predictor, with the selling of pink DS going to the dogs, and whatever color sells BrainAge. And even the DS won't predict it that well.
"You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes you just might find
You just might find
You get what you need"
Torturing the numbers. Hear them scream.
