Hell, the brand new 5000 dollar 3D TV can NOT do 1080p 3D gaming. Gaming is limited 720p on all TVs...Kinda sad considering that my 22 inch monitor does 1080p 3D with the PC.

Look up the manditory HDMI 1.4 spec for gaming on these new TVs. Its locked at 720p frame packing 3D. Even using a PC its locked to 720p...which is sad as I can push 1080p 3D gaming using my PC.

There was a very long thread discussing this few weeks ago. Basically the new TVs don't have fast enough HDMi chips...297mhz is needed and the fastest ones are 225mhz today. Therefore they blocked off the 1080p 3D fucntion.
