didn't know you didn't have a PS3

and PS3 crysis is supposed to be better then the 360 as crytek has said their are trying to get more out of it and even the PS3's 3D capabilities for highers res could help

i thought more than 300k 3DTV'S had been sold and many reported it more than that

anyways about SONY barring old 3DTV's,most of the gaming public doesn't 3dtv and and even who oen and minor and as most 3D PS3 consumers will buy a new 3DTV,there was no need to work more on bringing it to HDMI 1.3by sony perspective

First of all...PS3 doesn't have any 3d capabilities that 360 doesn't have. The only thing PS3 has is software which makes the TV think its an HDMI 1.4 device.

Develoeprs have to figure out how to make a game 3D on PS3 the same way they would on a 360. The only difference is that Sony is making a shitload of first party 3D games, while Microsoft isn't making any. 3rd party games like Crysis 2 can be ported to PS3 or 360 in the same manner regular ports are done.

So I really doubt crytek will get a lot more out of the Ps3...there may be slight consmetic differences...like that Mafia 2 game, but it should be similar.

Secondly, the sales are probably more now. But as of early June it was 300,000. Samsung leading the pack since they were out first... Could be double by now actually as sony and LG released their units after June.

And lastly, its just bad business to block existing userbase. the people with 3d gear were obviously hardcore users of the tech and will surely purchase the PS3 to test its 3D capabilities... I can make PS3 work with my TV, but I need this adapter. I shouldn't have to get a 300 dollar adapter...Sony should be fighting to get my $$$ away from other possible 3D solutions.
