"PS3 Domination" the coined phrase

I too think that the ps3 and 360 are competing with each other. The Wii isn't affected in the least by what MS and Sony do.

 But the PS3 and 360 are affected by the Wii in a major way. If the Wii takes 3rd party support from either of them, it affects it. If it takes marketshare away from them, it affects them. If the Wii is sported as the "hot item" it affects them by making other people buy Wiis, when if they werent competing, they would choose a PS3/360. 

 

Now seeing it from the company's point of view, I see the PS3 competing with both 360 and Wii. Microsoft has already accepted they cant compete with the Wii and have supported them and Nintendo against Sony. (See the DS vs. PSP and Bill Gates or whoever's terming of Wii60)

 

Microsoft wants to win 2nd behind Ninty, as long as they beat Sony.
