Well, in theory the PS3 is more powerful, look at exclusives right now, but multiplatform developers don't have the time to really show what they could do with the PS3. In my opinion developers should try to make games equal on both consoles, that's it. There are developers who showed more than once this gen that it is possible to make identical versions. Edit: To answer your question... no, it isn't due to a more powerful console.

And just out of curiousity, did you want to say with your comment that it's normal that the PS3 version is inferior?

Due to architectural decisions made by Sony, yes. It's normal that the PS3 version is inferior with similar budgets and development time, more so when you develop PC-PS3-X360 multiplatforms.

Ah ok, well, if I look at it that way then I agree. But as I said, there were many developers who succeeded in making equal versions, even in the PS3's first year, so other developers could do the same.

But I think the main reason why there are sometimes such big differences between PS3/X360 versions is because it's first developed for one console, then ported to the other one. And so I would still consider developers lazy because they just port it without really looking at the architecture of the PS3.
