My point wasn't really pointed at you but to a lot of people who continuously bash, troll, stealth troll all things 360 (just because) most not even owning a 360.  It was supposed to be just a reply and somehow I did a quote.

But after re-reading your post, I still don't believe most "hardcore 360" users own 2 systems or more.  But I will admit a lot do including myself.  But one is for me and the other is for the wife.

If by the people bashing Kinect even though they don't even own a 360 you mean me, I have to disappoint you. I do own a 360, I even bought it more than a year earlier than my PS3.

But it's no secret that I definitely prefer my PS3 and that I'm more and more rather disappointed with my 360. I haven't used it in ages. I'm not saying the 360 is a bad console, it really depends on what kind of games you like. If you love Shooters then the 360 is just perfect. But those kinds of games just don't interest me anymore.

In the beginning I was even really forward to Kinect because I believed this would lead to much more games being released that I would be interested in. But meanwhile I'm quite disappointed, I consider PS move a lot more interesting.

By the way, I had exactly the same impression about 360 owners having 2 consoles. My experience is anything but representative, but most 360 owners I know or read about have indeed at least two 360s. And there's a reason for it: Almost all 360 owners I know or have contact with use their 360s to play pirated games. Every November their current 360 gets banned and they buy a new one... I think it's quite funny, some of them have already got 5 or 6 360s at home, in the end they probably didn't save that much money really :)

Well, since you own a 360 its obviously not meant for you.  Not only was I pointing my finger towards non 360 owning crowd but also to those who have been bashing the Kinect without even playing it.  The thing is fun.  Thats all that matters to me.  Not whats in it or what other people say about it.

The only thing that I see being the Kinects downfall will be exactly what the Wii's was to some degree.  And that will be people simply getting tired of having to stand for a a lot of games.  I don't think that will be a turn off in the least, I just think people will not game for long periods of times (in a row).   Even if the Kinect can read people while sitting down,  there are some games simply designed for standing.   Which I think is a good thing anyways.
