I don't think you're going to have much luck with any methods discussed here, if you physically dropped a HDD then chances are it's completely locked up now, with that kind of fall you have surely done damage the the read/write heads and probably misaligned the platters, or at the very least damaged them in some regard. Really the only way you could recover that data is by paying someone a lot of money. I'd suggest trying any methods possible, but don't open your drive unless you know exactly what you're doing, because you can mess it up worse.
