I thoroughly enjoyed Alan Wake and I would rate it as one of the top 5 games on the 360. I loved how they presented the story in episodes and how the music at the end of each episode could be tied in to the story. It made the game feel like a really good tv series.
And to all the people that complained about the gameplay getting repetitive I didn't notice that problem because I was enjoying how the story was unfolding too much. Lighting enemies up with the flashlight and shooting them never got old to me.
It sounds like remedy really wants to make a sequel but it's up to Microsoft. I hope Microsoft decides to let them make a sequel I think it would sell a lot better than the original if they would just advertise a little more and don't release it in a month jam packed with other major titles.
