The hidden cost is that YOU STILL HAVE TO PURCHASE THE GAMES! And from the website, the price is close to if not normal. Thus, you would have to buy something that you could only play via the cloud. And if the cloud (or cloud provider) ever disappeared, you would no longer have your game. This might be appealing to developers since it is their single system and means you are buying a license to play rather than a physical game. But it is doubtful it will ever be more than niche in the marketplace.
