concorde was scrapped for several reasons:
Firstly, oil prises are much higher now, meaning concorde was really expensive
Secondly, I'm pretty sure there was a crash
Thirdly, it was noisy
Fourthly, If I'm right I think quite a lot of people in the US didn't want it flying in US air space, possibly for reason 3
It's a shame it got cancelled, it used to fly over my Grandmother's house in London and was a very good example of Anglo-French co-operation
