FF8 Rant - should I continue playing it?

1. This is false. VIII was written by Kazushige Nojima, the guy who wrote the other emo Final Fantasies (VII, X, X-2, and XIII). He is no more a movie script writer than I am, unless you count Final Fantasy movies.

2. VIII's plot is downright amateurish. Exhibit alpha and omega: the scene on the Trabia Garden basketball court.

3. XII is the best FF.

2. no it isnt, it has th most complex plot in th series, u can take different meaning to different evnts. Sum ppl still believe th entire game after disc 1 was a dream, tht is how deep ff8 plot is.

3. ff12 almost killed th series for me, so no.

2. I don't really care what sort of rabid delusions you've decocted out of the smoking lobes of your fanboyism. VIII's plot isn't nonsensical because it's complex, it's nonsensical because the characters' actions and motivations do not make any sense.

3. You're wrong. No FF has had a more fully-realized world or better dialog than XII. That at the least makes it a worthy addition to the series.
