If CoD was just a game for noobs then everyone would be good at it, the fact is the noobs get smashed all the time.  I don't run in parties so i see and play with lots of noobs and there is a massive difference between a noob and the average to better players.

In other games its the player with the better shot that wins, but C0D uses a knowledge of maps and map flow to win.  If a team of good shooters runs into a team that understands the map and map flow then they will kill the better shooters.

The new trailer looks okay, i will need to see more to decide if i will buy it or not.

dude thats true for every game.  Obviously if a team communicates and knows the map they'll win, but map control and team work in COD is TINY compared to its importance in Halo.

The biggest reason for that is that COD makes the stupid mistake of encouraging someone to play solo than to play teamwork.  Why on earth would I play conservatively and let team mates rack up kills when I could just run and gun by myself and rack up a big killstreak and get a Pavelow or an AC-130?  Also you kill oppponents so freaking fast that there is no need for teamwork to bring down someone.  In games like Halo a guy can get a power weapon such as Spartan Laser or Rockets and you can use highly effective strategies to take him down or use map control against him.

That doesn't exist in COD becaue if I shoot you twice you die in 3 seconds.  I mean seriously?  It makes it fun for some quick frag fests but the amount of skill to be successful in COD is VERY small compared to other shooters.  There is a reason COD has never been used on the Pro circuit.
