If Zelda was made to run with ordinary controllers I'd buy a Wii at $149. Also if Kirby and Donky kong was for regular controller that would strengthen my incentive.

But as I understand it Zelda, DKC and Kireby require motion controls? I feel motion controls are sloppy. I want to play classical games with classical controlls.

You could just buy the GCN version of Twilight Princess and play it on your Wii if you want classic controls.  Personally, the improved aiming for distance weapons makes the waggle swordplay (which is slightly annoying, but not really a big issue) worth it imo.  Lack of camera control wasn't really an issue either, EAD has some of the best autocams of any dev.

DKC and Kirby use motion 'shakes' for singular actions, like NSMB or Wario Land.... they're all playable using the Wiimote NES style afaik, which is about as classic as it gets honestly.

I meant the new Zelda but yeah I would like to play TwilitePrinces too.

I can't play with Wiimote. I wanna play like I did with the N64, a controller with a stick.

I guess I have to skip Nintendo this generation then.

Well, you still use a stick. :P

Yeah, the new Zelda would be hard to translate though, as it's being designed around the 1:1 control scheme, and I'm guessing stuff around pointer controls will be tweaked (making any transition to slower left analog too difficult).  It'd be like translating Wii Sports to a game pad, I dunno how they'd do it without changing the whole game. :/
