To be honest, Sony doesn't even seem that keen on picking up 3rd party games for localization this gen, at least not like they were in the PS1 and PS2 days. Actually, I can't even think of a single Japanese 3rd party game SCEA's done, on PSP or PS3? If anything, I'd say both Microsoft and (especially) Nintendo are much more eager to pick up and promote 3rd party titles overseas these days.
