Component is HD. It supports a resolution of 1280 by 720P which coincidentally is higher or identical to 99% of games released this generation. Composite on the other hand only supports SD and thats what currently comes with the Xbox 360.

still i want it HD, the colors look far better and the pixel flickering is gone.
