Samsung Galaxy S or the Htc Desire??

Hi there, I need help in upgrading my phone since my contract runs out soon. I know these two are both very good smart phones but which one would you say is better. Thanks for the help everyone!

 

edit: Dont say iphone cause thats too expensive:/
