This sort of thing isn't even remotely new and wasn't done by EA first. It is, however, the future of DLC. If you don't like that quit gaming now so the rest of us don't have to listen to your pointless whining about games you won't even buy to begin with. Making money at every juncture possible is a business thing, and it won't stop. If you don't like supporting businesses, don't buy any of their products. Try living in a communist state instead, I'm sure you'll never pay a dime for DLC in such a country.
You do not have the right to never be offended.
