Wow. Sorry, but that ratio sucks. I get the things he can't get done because Washington sucks, but the lie count should be 0. 20 is 20 to many. |
That's a weak argument, the point is that for a president he has a very good track record of keeping his promises and very few times has gone against what he said he would do. In those instances some of them were out of his control as well, but I never said that he was perfect, just that people have this perception that he hasn't kept any promises when in reality he has kept 4 times more promises than broken. You can't say he hasn't been doing what he's said he would do just because he didn't get a couple of things to happen. In two short years he's been able to get done about 3/10s of what he promised what he would do, if we can expect his next two to have the same amount of progress than we can expect roughly 5/10 to 6/10ths of all the promises he's made to be kept. Over another four years if re-elected that would mean between 8/10ths to 9/10ths kept. He has done a lot of what he said he would do and at this rate will accomplish almost everything he's said he would do. That's pretty simple mathematics I'm sure you can understand that, so why would you try to demonize the 20 promises he has not been able to keep out of 505, surely you would realize how miniscule that amount is? You say that the amount of lies should be 0, but let's convert 20/505 into decimals, what do you get? 0.0396 repeating. I'd say that's pretty darn close, in fact if you round off it is zero.
