The HD cable, try to uhm.. make sure the cable is set to HD instead of SD (if there is a little switch).

Another idea is to put your X360 to default display settings (it should be coming from the factory, but it doesnt hurt to try). U do it by pressing Y and Right Trigger at the same time during startup until the console resets.

its a normal cable, the xbox slim didn't come with an HD cord, it came with the normal 3 colored cord.

i used that cable on my Ps3, it might be unsupported?
