If it's anything like the launch 360 there should be a switch on the cord where it plugs into the 360. Turn it to HD and you should be set. You'll also need to go to system settings and make sure the video output is set to 1080P or whatever you TV needs. I played my 360 for a month before I realized it was outputting 720i.
