Hey guys i saw on the starcraft 2 requirements that i need at least a 2.4 ghz processor. However my amd processor is only 2.3 ghz. Will this be a problem too?

Those are the recommended requirements you were looking at. The minimum requirement is just a single-core CPU like a Pentium 4 which is MUCH slower than your CPU.

With your dual-core at 2.3 GHz you are very near the recommended level (2.3 vs 2.4 GHz is basically no difference at all).

thanks for clearing this up. I have also noticed games like The old Republic requires much higher specs. I am a little worried about this since i donn want to spend all of this money only to know it will be outdated in a couple of months. So with my pc specs would most games ork on it? Like crysis and mass effect 2.

I couldn't find the requirements for The Old Republic, but I'm absolutely sure you'll be able to play Crysis and ME2. Not at the highest graphical settings of course (which few computers can anyway).

You'll be able to play any current game, as long as you don't try to jack up the detail too much.
