I thought Kinect was marketed to be for the casuals and for THE FAMILY (that's at least what you 360 boys say). Well, I though the most standard type of family had 3 members or more. Or maybe each family should buy two 360s and two Kinects and additional 2 LIVE GOLD memberships so they can play 4-player Kinect in the same house!! Kinect is LIMITED TO TWO PEOPLE, get that into your thick skull. I am SHOCKED how much SMOKE AND MIRRORS Microsoft have been doing with this Kinect thing, and how easily they get away with this. From the start consumers have been fed NOTHING BUT inaccurate information, lies and witnessed LOTS of faults. However, people are like kids, eating up the BS like MS was feeding them candy.

And I love the whole "Move needs extra attachments" arguments coming from the 360 boys, who have defended the need for all the obnoxiously overpriced 360 add-ons (Wireless controllers, HDD, Wi-Fi, LIVE) with their life for how long now? But NOW, suddenly having to buy extras is a VERY BAD THING! Not that I expected anything else from the most hypocrite, ignorant and double standard fanbase in the industry, the 360 boys. Seriously, get a grip...

OT though: I think Kinect will outsell Move. And it is a goddamn shame...

Hot dang the tone directed towards me is quite warm at the moment.

As for extras, I paid $20 for a 360 controller charger kit. Nothing more and I will not be buying the Kinect because it does not interest me.

As for "most hypocrite, ignorant, and double standard fanbase in the industry" and "goddamn shame," was it me who killed your dog?

Nah, it's not directed at you personally. However, I am using your post though =) Yes, I know that maybe YOU didn't buy anything else but the charger kit, but then you can argue that no Move user will have to buy any additional items as well. Also, the Arcade WAS a very limited system and if you wanted the 360s full capabilities, one would have to buy an expensive HDD or pay for LIVE, etc. So one couldn't really choose if one wanted to pay up or not, one HAD TO. However, that is not important.

All I think is laughable is how all the Move extras are categorized as BAD, MANDATORY and EXPENSIVE, while all the 360's extras through time have been categorized as GOOD, OPTIONAL and CHEAP. That's why I put "most hypocrite, ignorant, and double standard fanbase in the industry", because this is surely NOT the first time this is happening. An honorable mention would be the option/necessity to install games on a console. MANY of the 360 users on this site (even in this thread) MOCKED the PS3 for having installs (optional or mandatory), and then suddenly, when installs hit the 360, they were like the second coming of Christ. It's just starting to become a pattern that's all..

And no, I do not own a dog. I own a cat, and it's still alive!

Sorry, if I come of as a bit warm, I meant no offense to you personally.

None taken.

As for the hype and marketing, yes the Kinect is being lauded because MS is supporting a lot of media by buying up ad space on their site, while marketing for the Sony Move has been next to nil. This transfers on down to the consumers who are constantly bombarded with positive press about the Kinect and discuss as such.

As for expenses, both will be about $150 if more than 1 player is playing. The Move will be cheaper if it is only one person at the $99.99 starter kit price, but to fully play the Kinect with an Xbox Live Gold membership, then the price is at least $180 (assuming Kinect is priced around $129.99).

With my posts on costs, I was just trying to clarify a lot of confusion and disinformation being spread around by individuals who jump into conversation without doing their homework.
