Sony is leaving the possibillity for developers to make their games Pay to play. So when they say it's free internet, that just means that you can go online for free, the individual services however... We will just have to see which ones are P2P and which ones aren't. The Media Center features. The only hope this has is if the Blue ray wins the format war and more than 15% of people start owning an HDTV. The current Blue ray movies are kinda poor in quality. Mobile devices... Can you honestly tell me that this will sell a single console this feature? Everyone has a phone and everyone has a cd player. Even Ipods. This is my problem with the PS3. It's got lots of features sure, but can anyone of you tell me how any of these are better than what you currently have? MS Live is reliable and sticks to what the hardcore online gamer wants, and it does it well. My only qualm with the 360 is that half of them suffer from the red ring of death. so it's kind of a risky buy. |
Wow, at least you were nice at first. PSN is free, there's no way to spin that otherwise. No third parties are going to charge just because Sony makes it free. Online games have been free to play on the PC forever, except for MMOs. It is no different for third parties on Live or PSN.

Yes, being able to play whatever is on your PC and now PS3 on any mobile device is awesome. I will be able to stream video (now full resolution due to PSP updates) to my PSP, playing whatever is on my PS3. I can already do that but soon I'll be able to from any internet location. That is awesome. I'll have many many gigs to store and watch on the go.
MS Live is reliable? Ok. Tell that to players that aren't the host. PSN already has lag-free 40-player Resistance matches. That's reliable.
