I'll try to make it clear how to DRM works

You buy star-craft and are given a key. You then add this key to a battlenet account. You are only given one key, Although you do get two seven hour trails...(not enough to finish the game really)

The account with the key can play online and play multi player and have achievements from battle.net etc.

For anyone else to play online, or have access to battle.net they also need to buy the game and add the key to their account.

You can play single player, however it requires you to login with a main key holding account. You then play as a guessed.

( I'm unsure of what a guessed completely entities, I couldn't log onto my brother account and haven't bothered trying since)

I fail to see how this is a better form of DRM, with the say spore DRM you could only install it on 5? machines... not many people I imagine have 5 computer they would be wanting to play it on themselves, and even if they updated their computer every 2 years that would still last them 10 years. And at lest anyone could play on it.

Yes you can install this on multiple computer but only one person can use it.

I get that some people make multiple accounts, and might make one later on with once they get better to make their states better, but people that really want to probably still will.

The only battlenet system only allowed the a single key to be online at the same time. if they had done that it would have been fine. Me and my brothers could all play at the same time without buying a new copy. Anyone sharing the key for piracy would be kicked off every time someone else joined. This system in one way helps reduce piracy compared to the other.

To put this into context of a real world thing. Just imagine you bought a book shelf. You come home but your brother has already put one of his books on it. You could to but your book on the shelf and it flies off and gives you a notice that this shelf can only be used by one person and you nor anyone else can ever use that shelf. It sucks.

fun rant. ^_^

I think Allowing only one account is stupid.it's stupid as I live with my brother. However, we share an account and the game. Yes If he loses it affects me, and if I lose it affecs him, but it's not a deal breaker for me, because the games so damn good. And if you care that much about star craft... you can buy 2
(which is what their counting on) or learn how to share. Kind of a-holish by blizzard but nothgin you can do about it

The Spore DRM has it. As Dead Space had it too... and I had to crack dead space to get it to play. After the installs were dried up.
