I would severely doubt that Lebanon would try to provoke anything. In a somewhat ill-defined border zone, somebody just got nervous and shot somebody else
The major problem is that everyone is trying to read into it. Lebanon definitely wouldn't try to provoke a country with the firepower to flatten them for the second time in four years, that's for sure.
