Well what kind of game would make the Kinect impress you? Its intended to appeal to casual userbase so they are making casual games. The Move was supposed to appeal to a core audience but its mostly just getting casual games and adding support for games that play fine on a joystick. The Kinect is full body motion tracking and allows certain games to be more immersive than ever. Granted you can apply the Wiimote and Move to more genres we generally play. But I'm interested in what new things will come from the Kinect, while you are just focusing on its limitations. |
I do like Dance Central, but that's about it. I don't think Kinect will sell that much to people who have the Wii, Nintendo has pretty much stolen that market. The problem with you and me is that I'm seeing what Kinect is right now and might be later, while you're pretty much ignoring Kinect's lineup, and only looking towards the future.
The Move not only appeals to casuals, but also enhances the gameplay for hardcore users, as you can see with Socom 4. Because of the Move being much more accurate, I'm sure we'll be able to see better casual and hardcore games that the Wii should have, could have, but didn't pull off due to its hardware.
