Great work. Well done.

It would seem the more older gamer owns the 360 ( or at least likes to spend the money on titles more often ).

It's no surprise as such though. The 360 is definately the place for RPG's this gen. With the best exclusives in the genre and usually getting DLC or timed exclusitivity on DLC for games or whole games. Same with shooters. It has the best shooters around with the highest played online for those to.

Be interesting if M$ can change the younger audience demographic with Kinect.

Again good job.

Thank you Selnor. ^_^

I just thought of this subject every time I hear someone generalize a console's top selling games.

360's just a shooter box!
Wii? Haha, only kids play games on that!
PS3 can't sell any games!

etc. etc. etc.

Just because a console has a certain demographic, doesn't mean it should be looked down on. So I thought I'd make a list of the million sellers and break them down, so we can see what's really going on.

I was actually surprised at the diversity of the 360's Million Sellers to be quite honest. There's a whole bunch of diverse games and genres being represented (especially in the T rating). Consider me pleasantly surprised.

Yeah totally agree.

The term shooter box is so far from the actual truth of 360 these days.

I would definately suggest the 360 over any other home console for any RPG fan for example.

Racing genre as well. People forget the 360 has 3 sim games, and more Arcade racers thanks to the amazing PGR 3 and 4.

Shooters is obvious.

Even the Horror/Thriller genre I would recommend a 360 now to thanks to Resi being on it, Dead Rising and the sublime Alan Wake.

M$ have done a fantastic job killing the shooter name, and winning many genres right now.
