Actually the PSP would definitely work as it has the graphical power. It has also proven that it can have tight controls for TPS style, examples would be Resistance: Retribution, and probably Killzone: Liberation. It would have to be watered down for the DS however, but with some nice cellshading and smart stylus use, it could also work.
