I don't think you can copyright historical events. Imagine if somebody copyrighted "World War 2 video games."
Anyway, I always wanted to make a Titanic sequel, but mine would be called Titanic 3000. It would take place in the year 3000, and be about the biggest spacecraft ever made. It would be taking a huge colony to another galaxy, and then crash into the biggest asteroid belt ever.
