You really thought the on-screen dancers follow your moves? Did you never wonder why the dance moves of the on-screen dancers were so perfect, no matter who stood in front of the TV?

I haven't been very interested in the game so I only saw a few videos with profession dancers. But if you watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGD0dLrkYPk&feature=related

on the right hand side is a white filled in person and it does look to be doing 1:1 tracking, I could be wrong as I said, but at seconds 37, 46, and minute 1:10. His movements do not match up with the onscreen character, but they do seem to matchthe white character pretty well.
