I am not downplaying it, I just thought that most people have no idea what the Asperger syndrome is all about, so I explained it briefly. The story of this kid is nothing spectacular, it's the normal course a person with Asperger syndrome is expected to take.

The most important thing to note here is that the Asperger syndrome is not a bad thing and doesn't make a person any worse than "normal" people.

I have no idea why you would feel the need to explain any such thing in this thread...no one is pitying anyone or anything...I really do not want to get into this now, not in this thread. So let's just stop it here
