Hes probably just talking as a gamer to his fellow gamers about whats being said of the new tech.

um considering they are posted within 2-3 days of each other I see another way to it.

 

If it was the same amount in the space of 2-3 weeks maybe, but it seems like euphoria is looking for articles that down kinect. There are a few positive articles out there as well.

My point is that its coming from a gamer to gamer or person to person not from a fanboy to fanboy relation. It make sense to me to post articles that brings down something if it reflects what you rationaly think of it. As long as it isnt meant to angry others. After all were on a forum to exchange opinions and point of views. Im pretty sure is acting would remain the same whether Kinect is on Xbox, PS3 or Wii.

No i understand this, I really do. I am ready to not care, it just seemed a barrage where it could have been said in one thread instead of several. Now there are several threads for people to bash kinect. I don't think its that necessary. Could be wrong.

 

I don't know how Kinect is going to be, IGN doesn't know how kinect is going to be. If you have played it (not you but a wider range), then you haven't the final version or it would have been released already. So it is not yet finished so these "previews and/or reviews" are really a waste of time at the moment.

 

To me personally (for what it matters) kinect seems interesting because it's different enough for an already established medium (wii). Does that make it better? No, of course not. To me personally PS3 is just going to be a better graphical Wii. But Kinect can be something different. That is what is interesting to me. But I don't know, nor does anybody else, so continuing of these threads/websites are pointless until it is closer to release.

cough eyetoy cough ps2, nothing new game wise has been done on kinect yet, where move already has innovated showing echocrome ii, go look it up move is already bringing new experiences!!

On Topic: all the profesionals who know about technology all seem to be reporting nothing but negative feedback for kinect, so obvioulsy the peripheral will not be to the hardcore liking, but maybe casulas will like it so you just never know, as for whther they buy it, maybe it's too expensive for the casuals, the only people i see suppporting kinect right now are certain ppl from the 360 userbase, as they are excited for it still, and it has huge pre-orders

Since when has a couple gaming rags/web sites become all the professionals  who know about tech?  There have been just as many better established news agencies that have said its awesome and could revolutionize the gaming industry.  Kinect is always going to have its detractors/haters for whatever reason (even if it has absolutely no flaws whatsoever).  But I will personally wait until it comes out and try it before I through the first stone.
