To clear up my point. Last year Arizona rounded up 250,000 mexicans. Of those, 17% already had criminal records. That's almost 1 in 5.
Do you think 1 in 5 mexicans are criminals? I sure don't.
If an Iranian entered our country illegally, would you think this person was of equal character as a typical iranian?
If not, why do you think a Mexican who enters out country is? Yes, there are many Mexicans who enter our country just to work and provide for there families. But the number of illegal aliens who are entering our country for illegal means is considerably higher then average.
To ignore that because they are mexican, is to be basing a judgment based on race. Thus, racist.
