I'm guessing you mean overall and not just in regards to this gen. If that's the case...

..................take these as fairly accurate, but guesstimates nonetheless:

- Mike Tyson's Punch-Out (NES) -100-200 hours

- Street Fighter II (SNES) - WELL over 1000 hours

- Super Street Fighter II (SNES)  Over 1000 hours

- Super Street Fighter II: Turbo (Panasonic Real 3DO)- Around 1000 hours or so

- Street Fighter Alpha (PlayStation) - Around 1000 hours or so

- Tekken (PlayStation) - 700 hours

- Tobal No.1 (PlayStation) - WELL over 1000 hours

- Bloody Roar II (PlayStation) - Over 1000 hours

- Resident Evil Director's Cut/Dualshock Edition (PlayStation) - 700 hours

- Resident Evil 2 (PlayStation) - 500-600 hours

- Goldeneye 007 (N64) - Could be my most played game of all time, with well over 2000 hours racked in.

- Mario Kart 64 (N64) - WELL over 1000 hours

- Street Fighter III: Double Impact (Dreamcast) - Over 1000 hours

- Marvel vs Capcom 2 (Dreamcast) - 200-300 hours

- Super Smash Bros Melee (Gamecube) - 900-1000 hours or so

- Bloody Roar: Primal Fury (Gamecube) - Over 700 hours

- Tekken Tag Tournament (PlayStation 2) - Over 1000 hours

- Condemned: Criminal Origins (Xbox 360) - 700 hours

- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Xbox 360) - Over 1000 hours

- Gears of War (Xbox 360) - Could also be my most played game of all time with WELL over 2000 hours racked in. Basically played it daily from early 2007 - mid 2009.

- F.E.A.R. (Xbox 360) - Over 700 hours

- HEAVY RAIN (PlayStation 3) - 150-200 hours

Hmm... that's like 1000 hours per year on average in this gen, split between only 5 games (equals 3 hours a day which is doable but then you'll have to add some hours for all other games).

How certain are you about these numbers? Like Condemned, Oblivion and FEAR.

Fairly certain, especially with Oblivion & F.E.A.R with online. Condemned was the only 360 game I played at one point, particularly in the beginning.

If we take out Punch Out and work from SNES to now, that short list alone comes to a minimum of 2 hours per day for the last 19-20 years (SNES was 1990/91 yes?)... and with your higher estimates and your "WELL over"s could easily be 3 hours per day.

Have you actually played any other games than the ones on this list?
