Does it matter if Kinect works right?

lol, me too, as far as its success goes. However, I think that the things I've mentioned about how the device works are kind of like game reviews. Casuals don't care about them. If they think it's fun, they'll buy it, and it is aimed directly at them. That said, again, I have to wait and see if it's a success. Since the device is not meant for me, I have no investment in its success or failure, and I won't be buying it, however I think it will outperform the move if casual gamers are at all a deciding factor.

I disagree, cansual gamers are basically the kind that got their hands on a 1-2 year old gen console and some games and basically leave it for 5-10 years before the wii but since the wii has already got them to buy that I don't see them buying kinect on top of wii especially since it really doesn't do much better then the wii and the wii is cheaper
