I agree for the most part, thougth I will contend that there are many games where pressing a button to pick up dropped ammo just really isn't necessary.  Also, I disagree with why the convoluted plots are bad - it's not that you only get a 10 minutes of storyline every few days as a normal gamer (ever followed a TV series before?), it's that the plots and dialogue are as bad as the voice acting.  Most of them aren't worth following, and I'd rather just dive right into the action.  Of course, that's why I agree with the voice acting part - regardless of how good or bad the actors are, they're acting out a terrible script with poor direction, which is to say they have nothing to owrk with to begin with.  Still most of the criticisms are true, especially QTEs and the fact that rarely does anyone appreciate what you've done for them in game.
