Honestly, I could care less if this thing works or not. I have yet to see one piece of software to get me excited for this thing at all. I think Microsoft is going to have a hard time selling this to anyone outside of hardcore xbox fanboys at $150. Even the $300 combo deal os going to be a hard sell considering that a Wii can be bought for a $100 less and has the likes of New Super Bros. Wii and Mario Kart Wii. Kids will go to their friends house and play Wii, and want to buy Wii, not Kinect. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out who Microsoft is marketing to here.
And to everyone who says, "look at how much fun people are having though!" Have you ever seen a movie so bad, that it's hilarious? Movies like "The Room", "Over the Top", and "The Wizard" remain popular for this very reason, and it's hard not to watch them without smiling.
