Did Rolston really say that? Maybe he meant the Big Huge Games RPG project which was canceled when they were aquired by 38 studios.

Then of course he still probably brought his vision over to 38 studios' Reckoning, but do you remember him saying that?

And yes, Dragon Age was fantastic. My GOTY 2009.


I'm sure I read him saying pretty much that in an interview shortly after Amalur was officially announced, probably a week or so ago. I think it was an IGN preview; he promised to take everything good from Oblivion and add it into everything else they're doing, especially combat improvements. Curt Shilling said to Joystiq they're looking to meld God of War with Oblivion. So...yeah, big promises!
