But every time you actually SEE people playing with Kinect; it does look like, regardless of is faults, they are having a good time. Could this be due to a paycheck (the Japanese models say yes), but the fun part of it does look genuine.
It is also very obvious that initially, Kinect is targeting new users. New users are not the hardcore (for the most part they either have one or will never have one) and these newbies want fun over function. These are more concerns for the hardcore gamer in people who frequent sites like this one and MS already said that the hardcore games will be coming in the future. They have plenty of time to work the kinks out.
