Same! The major problem was that to get the best and rarest cars, you have to win those damn Endurance races (or that event called "Like the wind"). I think it took me over one year just to get about 10 different cars which could only be won. Not to mention those Endurance races were fricking frustrating and LONG! I remember though, the event "Like the Wind" used to be one of my most favourite events even though the prize money was very little. I particularly liked to experiment what different cars were useful in that event without their engines busting or overheating or whatever it was that slowed you down on 6th gear! |
"Like the Wind" was amazing. A 20 lap run through Test Track, which could be easily won with any car above Volkswagen V12 Nardo category It also gave you 20K or so prize money if i'm not mistaken. That was my main grinding spot for cash.
I particulary loathe the Polyphony Formula Cup A 10 track, 60plus laps hell through most of the hardest tracks in GT3, using only a Polyphony F1 Car, against other Polyphony F1 cars, and the only thing you could "tune" was the hardness of the R tires.
And you had to do it 4 times, minimum, to win at least one of each prize cup car >_>
