I've never been to the US but in Canada, I could see quite a lot of fatties when going to the mall. Not only adults but children and teens. It was just so horrible to see those kids struggling to just walk around the mall. What I found weird was when I saw stick think mothers with obese children. WTF!?
A lot of it has to do with people not cooking for themselves anymore (lots of fast food or frozen "conveniant" crap instead), HUMONGOUS portions and not moving.
Personally, I don't want to let myself ever get there. I'm at a healthy weight but not fitting in some of my clothes anymore. That tells me I should lose some inches. I'm not buying new clothes till it goes back down to how it was.
Edit: I was curious so I looked at the fat country list and...
| 163. | Japan | 22.6 |
I know Japanese has gotten fatter but it's still so low compared to other developped countries! I really would like to know how they stay thin. XD
